How to register
- Send an email to admin@ottawahakka.org to inform the chatroom moderator that you would like to join the chatline.
- The moderator will give you the password required to join the chatline.
- Come back to this page, choose a nick name and click CONNECT.
- When prompted, enter the password in the grey box that opens, and click OK.
- To register your nickname, double-click on your nick in the Member column. You will then be asked to enter your OWN password. Be sure NOT to forget it! You are now a registered participant.
- Use your mouse to go over the icons and check all the options available to you (e.g. person-to-person chat, members list, member profile, etc.).
- For any question, contact the chatline moderator at admin@ottawahakka.org.

Conditions of use
- The chatline is primarily open to members and friends of the Hakka Association of Ottawa, and their friends and relatives wherever they may be in the world.
- The moderator has sole authority to accept or refuse people who apply for membership.
- Foul language, disrespect, and arrogance will NOT be tolerated. Any member who abuses the privileges of membership will be removed from the chat group.
- For a Person to Person Chat, highlight the nickname of the person in the right column, and then click on the fourth icon from the left (top line of icons).
- Once you're finished chatting and want to leave, click on the X (top right).
